Our agreement, written like a real conversation.

Last updated · April 1, 2026Effective · April 1, 20268 min read

Plain-language summary first. We've highlighted the essentials in callouts. The full, lawyer-reviewed text follows beneath each section. If anything is unclear, write to [email protected].

1. The agreement

In shortBy creating an account or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. If you're booking on behalf of a household or business, you agree on their behalf too.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Servygo Inc. ("Servygo", "we", "us"). They govern your use of our customer portal, mobile apps, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect.

2. Eligibility

In shortYou must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your province) to book Servygo services.

You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter this agreement, and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Your account

In shortYou're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. Tell us immediately if your account is compromised.

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your password and accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account. You can review active sessions and revoke them at any time in Settings → Security.

4. Bookings & quotes

In shortFixed-price packages are guaranteed at checkout. Bid jobs become firm contracts only when you accept a provider's offer.

Servygo offers two booking modes:

  • Fixed-price packages. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Optional add-ons are clearly listed and itemised on your receipt.
  • Custom bid jobs. You describe the scope, vetted providers send offers, and you accept the one you prefer. The accepted offer becomes the binding contract.

You may reschedule a booking as long as the new appointment time falls outside the service's advance-booking window (shown while you pick the new time), up to a limited number of self-serve reschedules per booking; support can help beyond that. Rescheduling changes the appointment date and time only — the price you paid at booking (including any emergency or after-hours surcharge) is unchanged, and rescheduling neither adds fees nor issues refunds. Cancellations within 4 hours of the slot may incur a 25% fee to compensate the provider's allocated time.

5. Payment & refunds

In shortWe authorise on booking and capture after the job. Refund disputes are resolved via our 5-step ladder within 7 days.

When you book, we authorise your payment method but do not capture funds until the provider marks the job complete. You can apply wallet credit, loyalty points, or promo codes at checkout in any combination.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, open a dispute from the booking detail within 7 days. Our trust & safety team responds within 24 hours.

6. Acceptable use

In shortBe respectful. Don't harass providers, misrepresent jobs, or use the platform for anything illegal.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal activity or to facilitate harassment, discrimination, or abuse of any provider.
  • Misrepresent the scope of a job to obtain a lower quote.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the Services.
  • Bypass Servygo's payment system to settle directly with a provider for a job booked through the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Independent providers

In shortProviders are independent contractors. Servygo facilitates the connection but isn't your employer or theirs.

Service providers on Servygo are independent businesses or contractors, not employees of Servygo. We screen providers, vet their licenses where applicable, and require liability insurance — but we are not liable for the workmanship of any individual provider.

That said, we stand behind the platform. If a job is below standard, our trust & safety team can issue partial or full refunds, or dispatch a redo at our cost.

8. Intellectual property

Servygo's name, logo, and the design of the Services are owned by Servygo Inc. You retain ownership of any content you submit (reviews, photos, messages) but grant us a limited license to host and display it as part of the Services.

9. Disclaimers & liability

In shortServygo's liability is capped at the total amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

The Services are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Servygo's total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of CAD $500 or the total fees you paid Servygo in the 12-month period before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice except in cases of serious abuse or fraud.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Saskatoon, except where local consumer protection laws apply.
